A little preview: teru teru bouzu

The other day I was thinking about the rain. I usually do think about the rain because it's one of my favourite things in the world, and I remembered  a japanese little charm doll used on something related with it. I'm talking about Teru Teru Bouzu.

This little doll has the magical power to bring good weather and make the sun go out, so I was a little dissapointed because I like rainy days, but then I found out that if you hang it head down, it works as a prayer for rain.

So I made my own version of them, I'll be listing it on Etsy this week, and I wanted to show it to you~

I probably won't be hanging it head down ;_; but I think it's cute, what do you think?

Have a wonderful day~!

I ♥ Blogs: Ishtar Olivera

Hello everyone!

Today I have a lovely blog to share with you. In fact, I found out about it yesterday, but I'm already loving it, and I'm sure you will too!

Meeeeet~~ *drumroll* tatararaaaa~~~ Ishtar Olivera!

I'm totally in love with this woman's work. Not only she takes lovely photographs and makes the loveliest crafts, but also shares her knowledge on those topics and more, making amazing tutorials.

I think what I loved the most are her photography tutorials. I'll try to put in practice what she teaches there and see if I can pop up with some nice pictures :3

I totally encourage you to visit her blog and try some of the tips she shares, she's super wonderful and charming ^^

Have a nice day!

Japan Relief

I'm pretty sure you all know about what's going on in Japan right now, so I won't say much about that.

As you can imagine, Japan is my inspiration in pretty much everything I do. Directly or not, I'm influenced by its essence, culture, history and people in so many ways... all the events happening this last days make me very, very sad.

Yesterday I decided I'll be donating 20% (probably 25% on bigger orders) on every sale I make to Global Giving's Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief . It would be great if you help, even if it's not buying or donating, but promoting and spreading the word. Every little bit helps.

Some other shops in the Super Kawaii Pop Team on Etsy are donating part of their proceeds to this cause, please support them too!

Mayene 50% to Red Cross http://www.etsy.com/shop/mayene

Chikipita: 20% to Red Cross http://www.etsy.com/shop/Chikipita

Xangetsu: 20% to Global Giving http://www.etsy.com/shop/xangetsu

Cute Creations: 25% to British Red Cross http://www.etsy.com/shop/CuteCreationsStore

And this is the link to a BNR (buy and replace) wich will donate ALL the proceeds to Red Cross:

You can also help donating to the Red Cross

Japan, please, be safe.

Cute Etsy Finds: Atpalicis

I didn't know wich section I should put this post into because the blog I'm about to introduce to you (well, maybe you already know it) is held by an amazing artist, who also happens to have a wonderful Etsy shop. So I was struggling between I ♥ Blogs, Cute Etsy Finds and Artist Magnifique. Anyway, I ended up with this because I met her via Etsy, but I hope you check out all of her sites because I assure you it's totally worth it.

Atpalicis is an amazing illustrator from Ukrania, who draws the cutest things ever. As I don't know many things about her, I'll let her beautiful art speak for me.

I'm pretty sure I'll buy some prints from her when I have a little studio so I can fill it with cuties like this.

Atpalicis's sites to check out:

Have a nice day ^^

I have a confession to make...

... every time I finish a new doll, I kiss it.
It's like an involuntary impulse,
I just have to do it.

...and I get sad when I have to let them go u.u

I wonder if they know how much I love them ;////;
