Cute Etsy Finds: Chet and Dot

I just can't stand the cuteness of this shop. Just saying.

La dulzura de esta tienda me supera.

Chet and Dot

Chet and Dot is a beautiful shop owned by Jenn Hill (who also co-owns RobotCandy) and is so incredibly full of cuteness. She has a huge stock of plushies, pouches and cases, prints, adornments, you name it. Everything is so lovely, if I had to choose one thing on her shop I would die trying to pick just one thing!

Aw, and this is just a tiny bit of all the things she has on her shop. Check her out! I always find things like this completely inspirational~ Jenn also has a Facebook Page and a Twitter account Make sure to visit her and show her some love!

Paper PomPom garland by Laurie Cinotto (via HamblyScreenPrints)

I was looking for a special kind of garland my mother used to make for me and my brother when we were kids. I haven't seen these in AGES, and it took me some time to find the exact thing I was looking for, but in the end I made it!
Maybe Miki will know them haha! (Sorry it's in spanish only, but I couldn't find a tutorial in english. If you recognize these and know some tutorial, please share! )

And this is it by now. Sorry if you haven't seen me in weeks, I just wasn't feeling the blogging fairy :( and I've been busy and running around the house with lots of yarn wrapped around me xD I'm trying to revamp my shop and change pictures and stuff, but I don't want to forget my bloggie! Anyway, I hope you're all fine and dandy~

Lots of love for everyone!
Have a nice day!

New on my shoppu~!

Time for some self promotiooon~ yeey!

I haven't blogged about new items in a looong time! But anyway, I haven't done much u.u but this are some little dolls I have available on my shop ^^

I love making bears, but puppies are also fun to make. What do you think? I'm planning on making my amigurumi dolls in a mini mini mini version for Pullip, Dal and Blythe. Let's see how it goes xD

Some weeks ago I received a mail from a local shop asking me for my amigurumi dolls, and she ended up buying me a lot of them, so I've been working on that. I'm so freaking happy! Selling local is one of my goals this year, so now I'm looking for more shops, wish me luck!

This is a picture of all my little dolls packed xD

I wish I had taken a picture of the shop, because it's completely gorgeous and I think their Facebook photos doesn't full show how lovely the shop is. I promise  that if I go again I'll take some pics~

I'm seriously thinking on writing my entries on both english and spanish, but I'm not sure ;_; I'll do my best, I promise!

Have a wonderful day!

Ideas please?

Hi everyone!
It seems like I've disappeared from the face of the earth (or at least, from Blogger's face xD), but noo, I'm here, but as usual, with my irregular posting habit    x(
But well, at least I come here with good news~
The other day I received a mail from a girl who found me on Etsy and owns a lovely shop called ÑamÑam, and she wanted to know if I make things to sell here. Well, I told her that I do, and that I would make her a catalogue to show her some things I do. I made it, sent it to her and now I have to make a good amount of little amigurumi dolls and play food~ I couldn't be any more happy!
So I've been busy, but as I said, happy.

Now, to the topic of this post.

It happens that I got my hands in some tiny and lovely glass jars. I don't know if you know, but I love anything storage-related: boxes, little containers, big containers, jars, cans, and probably whatever you can use to put something else in (I don't even know if that phrase makes sense. Whatever).

The thing is, I would love to make something nice with it, and I need ideas...

This is something I found on the internetz. Sadly, I don't know where it came from, but at least its inspirational:

I
Well, if you want to share something, please feel free to~ I would love some nice ideas ^^

If I come up to something, I'll post it here~

Have a nice day!

A little preview: teru teru bouzu

The other day I was thinking about the rain. I usually do think about the rain because it's one of my favourite things in the world, and I remembered  a japanese little charm doll used on something related with it. I'm talking about Teru Teru Bouzu.

This little doll has the magical power to bring good weather and make the sun go out, so I was a little dissapointed because I like rainy days, but then I found out that if you hang it head down, it works as a prayer for rain.

So I made my own version of them, I'll be listing it on Etsy this week, and I wanted to show it to you~

I probably won't be hanging it head down ;_; but I think it's cute, what do you think?

Have a wonderful day~!

PD: oh, it's raining here ~ happy choco~~~!

Japan Relief

I'm pretty sure you all know about what's going on in Japan right now, so I won't say much about that.

As you can imagine, Japan is my inspiration in pretty much everything I do. Directly or not, I'm influenced by its essence, culture, history and people in so many ways... all the events happening this last days make me very, very sad.

Yesterday I decided I'll be donating 20% (probably 25% on bigger orders) on every sale I make to Global Giving's Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief . It would be great if you help, even if it's not buying or donating, but promoting and spreading the word. Every little bit helps.

Some other shops in the Super Kawaii Pop Team on Etsy are donating part of their proceeds to this cause, please support them too!

Mayene 50% to Red Cross http://www.etsy.com/shop/mayene

Chikipita: 20% to Red Cross http://www.etsy.com/shop/Chikipita

Xangetsu: 20% to Global Giving http://www.etsy.com/shop/xangetsu

Cute Creations: 25% to British Red Cross http://www.etsy.com/shop/CuteCreationsStore

And this is the link to a BNR (buy and replace) wich will donate ALL the proceeds to Red Cross:

Cute Etsy Finds: Atpalicis

I didn't know wich section I should put this post into because the blog I'm about to introduce to you (well, maybe you already know it) is held by an amazing artist, who also happens to have a wonderful Etsy shop. So I was struggling between I ♥ Blogs, Cute Etsy Finds and Artist Magnifique. Anyway, I ended up with this because I met her via Etsy, but I hope you check out all of her sites because I assure you it's totally worth it.

Atpalicis is an amazing illustrator from Ukrania, who draws the cutest things ever. As I don't know many things about her, I'll let her beautiful art speak for me.

I'm pretty sure I'll buy some prints from her when I have a little studio so I can fill it with cuties like this.

Atpalicis's sites to check out:

Have a nice day ^^
